This is a most impressive piece of Mother of Pearl. The vase has the diamond quilt air-trap pattern and shades from a dark blue at the top to a very subtle baby blue color at the base. The fancy ruffled rim has an applied clear frosted camphor glass lip. The bulbous vase measures 9 ½" h. and 6 ½" d. at the widest portion of the vase.
