| Well you have found the best in this fantastic Crown Milano covered sugar and creamer. The decoration is absolutely pristine with a tremendous amount of fine gold detail. The opaque glass blanks have been decorated with light beige scrolling wash and over that are heavy gold flowers, stems, buds and tendrils over the entire surface. The blossoms have tiny details of red, white enamel to add extra detail. The creamer has an applied reed handle and the sugar has two applied leaf handles. The sugar retains its original circular paper label inside the lid, "Crown Milano MT W.G. CO". Neither item is marked on the bottom of the piece. The sugar measures 4 3/8" h. to the steeple finial and is 4 ½" d., while the creamer is 4 ¼" h. to the top of the gold highlighted spout. |
